Marketing Manager, Converge360

Job Summary:
Converge360, a division of 1105 Media, Inc., provides information, news, trends, and research to enterprise technology professionals.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to support the Converge360 Team, reporting directly to the Director, Marketing and Innovation, to assist in strategic sales marketing initiatives for all of our brands, our in-house marketing agency (Agency@1105) as well as supporting our other database marketing and lead generation campaigns.  

Essential Job Functions:
  • Write and program engaging marketing emails to promote our portfolio of products including virtual summits, webcasts, branding and awareness and lead generation campaigns
    • Write compelling and relevant copy
    • Develop effective marketing creative using
    • Dreamweaver and existing 1105 Media HTML templates
    • Ensure each marketing promotion is proofread and without error
    • Schedule and deliver complete email marketing packages to ensure timely email delivery
    • Optimize poor performing campaigns through copy, creative and list adjustment 
  • Develop and maintain an organized, strategic email marketing plan for sales marketing initiatives
    • Determine appropriate marketing creative, channels and frequency of promotional schedule
    • Organize marketing plan in a manageable, digestible format listing all pertinent data to simultaneously manage multiple campaigns
    • Identify appropriate audience to receive marketing messages
  • Create and manage paid marketing initiatives to maximize ROI
    • Develop overall paid marketing strategy – channels, spend, goals etc.
    • Measure success and adjust future initiatives appropriately
  • Track and report on the success of all campaigns
  • Prepare and update campaign status reports
    • Analyze and communicate insightful performance analysis for weekly meeting
    • ​​​​​​​Maintain communication lines with the Senior Director, Client Services to ensure all programs are being monitored and given due diligence towards meeting client expectations and deadlines
  • Build email templates for sales to use to approach new prospects and existing customers with specific product offerings, special promotional packages and discounts
  • Coordinate marketing material, as needed, with Creative Director for appropriate sales collateral
  • Conduct appropriate market research & surveys to utilize for strategic initiatives
  • Help with the design of new marketing materials, media kits, sell sheets and more
  • Review, edit and update existing marketing websites
  • Assist in overall social media marketing strategy and help to grow followers
  • Support sales with prospecting, special projects, RFPs, client calls and other duties as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned, directed or requested

  • At least 3-5 years in a corporate marketing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English or related field
  • Paid social media and google advertising experience a plus
  • Familiarity/comfort with web and campaign analytics is a plus
  • Experience with HTML, Dreamweaver and Photoshop is a plus
  • Business to Business (B2B) marketing experience
